Account Services Representative

The Account Services Representative is a member of a team which is responsible for the membership and depository account opening process for products such as checking/savings, certificates, IRA, and HSA accounts, for the establishment of said accounts, and related servicing which includes account number changes, joint ownership changes including adding through paper or online, beneficiary changes, adjustments, and personal information updates. Direction is received from the Supervisor of Account Services Operations.

Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Responsible for the establishment and servicing of membership and depository accounts including, but not limited to checking/saving, IRA, and HSA accounts
- Processes account maintenance requests including but not limited to adding or deleting joint owners, beneficiary designation, and address change requests and responsible for account research and adjustment of including, but not limited to misapplied funds, loan reconstruction and interest adjustments
- Participates in the cross training of team members and self
Qualifications:
- High school graduate; college degree preferred
- Knowledge of depository products including checking/savings, IRA, and HSA accounts helpful
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in customer service-focused role
- Ability to use a continuous improvement approach to enhance intra-departmental processes
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
- Previous financial institution or insurance industry experience preferred
