We recently shared a video from Visa showing how credit cards with EMV technology can be used in both new, EMV-chip-reading terminals and in traditional, magnetic-stripe swipe-only terminals. The video below shows how the process of paying at an EMV terminal is slightly different than paying by swiping your card and signing.
